Today, I want to share paintings from "Small Spirits:Dark Dolls". These pieces are only a few works of art that I painted to illustrate Marge Simon's poetry collection back in 2017. Over the years, Marge and I have teamed up to create various collections, mostly with her poetry and my paintings/drawings, including the Bram Stoker award winning book, "Vampires, Zombies and Wanton Souls". Other collections are "The Mad Hattery", "Naughty Ladies" and "Garden of the Faes",  However, in 2012 we collaborated on some poetry in a collection called "Dangerous Dreams"--this time with Marge's visual art. Most of these books are out of print at present.

I've also illustrated poetry books for such luminaries as David Kopeska-Merkel and Angela Albee, just to name a few.

At one time, I struggled with the challenge of staying true to both my visual art and my writing. As I get older, I've managed to work with both muses and to create books that combine my own poetry and stories. "Journey to Talazia, 2017, Alban Lake Publishing is a novelette which includes some of my illustrations. "Lupo Mannaro", 2017, from Night to Dawn Books and Magazines, does the same. And, recently, Alban Lake published an art book of mine called "Come Dream with Me", which includes personal notes written by me.

Thanks for looking and reading.
